Thought of the Day 2010 #63 - Eliminates Odors?
Just how does something like Fabreeze eliminate odors and not just cover
them up? Is it microencapsulation? I know it's not anti-bacterial, so
it's not working that way. Does it pluck up the offending scent
molecules and ship them to stinkier climes? I wanna know! Does anyone
know?

easy answer? http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_does_Febreze_work
Very hard answer, but more technical? http://www.scienceinthebox.com/en_UK/glossary/cyclodextrin_en.html
Cyclodestrin. Little pockets of gaseous materials that trap the smelly molecules and pull them to the ground.
sorry, typo Cyclodextrin
