My Space
Am I the ~only~ one that thinks that My Space is a giant style vacuum? It’s an ugly, annoying, personalized cross between Yahoo Groups and Geocities sites. So, of course I had to have one. Well, only so I could join a friend of mine’s site. You know give the rah-rah-support-ya-tons in this ugly venture kind of prop. Luckily, I have no idea what the login was. Bottom line, can we delete My Space now? Its 15 minutes has come and gone. Pull the plug!!

I HATE myspace, but I finally had to give in to building up a page on it after one too many (read: 100s) of "what's your myspace page?" requests. I really don't like it. It's clunky, unattractive, a magnet for the worst offenders of page composition the world has ever seen, prone to crashing, entirely too glittery, I could go on and on.
On the other hand... be my friend?
:)
Admittedly, what could be a pretty good networking tool has been a bit of a plaything pour moi. I kinda collect friends like trading cards. I was stoked to get cartoonist/illustrator Bob Fingerman as a friend this weekend and ?uestlove of the Roots in the past week.
I'm so lame.
